How do you make up your shownames?

How do you all make up your shownames, do you go by a theme or just name them randomly? I am curious about it really.

Personally I (80% of the cases) use a songtext site and seek for songs with their names in it. Then I pick a sentence out of the lyric I find fitting. Or I just pick a theme fitting to the callname and think of something matching to it. The rest is just random (ex. a song on the radio; something I'm thinking off at that second).

I just make them up or ask someone, most of the time. There are a couple that I use songs and book titles and characters from movies and such. Sometimes it's helpful to look up the callname you've given the pet in a thesarus, find something you like, and add a word or so to the front of it. It works. =P

For Perish that's what I did, looked it up in a thesarus and found a word I liked that still meant to perish and made a title out of it. My cat Ice - DB's Cold As Ice is from a song title .. "She's as cold as Ice"

If something springs to mind from their call name or their appearence, I'll use that. If that doesn't work I'll go to my notepad file of show name ideas-I have nearly 200. If all else fails I'll try to think up one on the spot, coming from recent events in my life, quotes I've heard, or songs I've listened to.

a bunch of mine are from songs or movies, but sometimes something just jumps into my head and even if it's stupid i can't not use it or it'll drive me crazy lol

Of the whole 3 show catz I currently have,their show name's all come from songs that I love.
