Which do you think is better? Do you prefer one over the other in judging, or even just in posing? And finally,which do you think is harder to get?

I prefer dane poses in judging and in posing my dogz because I think it looks more professional and it tends to get judged better than dali. I think dane poses are harder to get, though because you have to get their head just right and sometimes the dog just won't get their head straight.

I agree with Catnip. But right now I'm breeding CKBC and I prefer them as dali poses. Other than that, Dane poses I like the most.

I prefer Dane most of the time because it looks nicer and because it is harder to get and therefor should get more credit. But at the same time, there are some breeds that just look better in a Dali pose, like CKBCs and Fairytale Boxers.

I prefer dane most of the time over dali, depending on the breed. Dane poses are a pain in the butt to get, but they look very nice if done correctly (and with the correct breeds. Let's face it, some breeds just look weird in a dane pose ).

I prefer dali. I rarely get dogs to do dane. but i do CKBC's so its rare if i have a dog that needs a dane pose.

I prefer the Dane pose in judging,because they look more professional, and I think it takes longer to get the pose if they are dane pose.

With posing my dogs I prefer dane because it looks nicer and it's sort of the popular thing right now, and because it looks more like real life.
With judging I prefer Dane because it's more realistic, as I said earlier, and also it shows that the dog isn't just standing there but is actually posing. Some breeds look like they aren't in pose when they're in dali.

I prefer dan like most. I think the dog looks more proud in that position, and also more standard. Also - I Dont like Dali because I breed and show Otter hounds, and they look alot better with their eyes not showing ^^

I prefer dane over dali, definetly. Partly, I find dane poses a bit easier to do, and they seem to place more often in shows. Dali poses make alignment even more difficult. You have to get the head centered, whereas on dane poses you don't have as much trouble with aligning the head. Dane poses give a more elegant look to me.

>>; Am I the ONLY one who likes Dali poses now? I mean seriously, Romeo's up to 24 points in three days with a Dali pose. O-o;

I like Dali poses. I must state I only have one posing dog, but I simply cannot get decent Dane poses out of him... he's like a pose-disaster (or I am, which-way you look at it).
