I've noticed in Dogz shows a lot of times the orignal breed Dogz are placed low or even not at all! Judges need to keep in mind that these Dogz breedz are extremely difficult to pose, and they should be a little more lenient on them. ~How to Pose Your Dogz~ This is Romeo in a pretty much perfect Dali pose. See how a few extra pixels stick out? This can't be helped, unfortunately. In this pic two eyes show. It's not a perfect pose, but it's decent. Two eyes showing often can't be helped with these breedz. I find Dalmatians easiest to pose, and Great Danes by far the most difficult because of long, gangly legs. That's why I don't usually show danes.. LOL! Anyhow... Puppies can also be more difficult to pose. This isn't a perfect pose. I would never use it for show, but this is an example of a puppy pose so you have something to refer to. The legs tend to be the worst because they're so short and stubby compared to the body. I do like the tail here though, but the angle and alignment is majorly off. Danny here shows pretty good alignment but the angle of the head and the way the ears are looks off. If his head and ears were better this pose would be near-perfect, for a dane. He sorta freaked out when I snapped this... XD
