Here is Gerrit's pose.He hasn't been placing too well so I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to make his pose better.I've asked on the RKC forum, but if there is any changes needed to be done, could someone pose him for me?I am terrible at getting catz to pose... Please and thank you.

He seems to be in an wrong in a slight angle. His front leg alignment is off, his eyelids could use some work. I am not sure about his head, something seems off there, but it could be me His tail is great though!

With the legs From my experience posing calicos/cali mixies, it's near to impossible to get rid of those extra pixels. The legs are fine IMO.

The eyelids are pretty darn good. Nearly perfect mirror images of each other, which is what you want. As Kayota has said, those extra pixels on the left side of the front paws are normal for calis. The leg alignment looks great to me. He may not be placing well simply because of those extra pixels, from folks who aren't very familiar with calicos. I used to judge harshly when I saw those pixels, then I tried posing my own calicos.

My (hexed) Calico's pose with less front leg showing then Gerrit, so I took them as a an example to judge Gerrit's pose by. :S

Yeah cali hexies usually look much cleaner, often lack those pixels. Sorry if I came off sounding a bit obnoxious, didn't mean to. Let me emphasize this is only my own opinion and others' judgements are equally if not moreso valid.

My (hexed) Calico's pose with less front leg showing then Gerrit, so I took them as a an example to judge Gerrit's pose by. :S Yes: Calico hexies and purebreds pose with much cleaner legs than Calico mixies, it's a fact very few judges know - maybe it's a mean Ubisoft trick. What I find a good test to find the right alignment for Calico mixies is to get them to scratch on the carrycase - then you know the optimal alignment. For example, here is where the extra pixels should be: And here is where they shouldn't be: I have a guide in my sig that might be helpful to anyone interested, but yes; I agree with that has been said already. It looks a great pose apart from something a little off with the head. Sorry if I sound rude, it is a subject I know a bit about, now, owning many MPCs!
