Avoid it entirely. Well, you know. That's kind of mean. I say it straight up, and don't try to do that cliche (and demeaning) good news/bad news thing. It does depend on the severity of the news, though, I'm talking about serious bad news, not so much about "I lost your glove." I'm talking about "I lost your right hand.  " What's your favourite place in a library? (I'm there on work experience. Whee.) |
