I know alot of people have specialty breeds that are their main breed that they show and breed more than anything else. For me this used to be a certain Golden Retriever file, and although I still love my petz from the file, it's not really my favorite or my specialty anymore. I'm actually a bit borderline.
So that led me to wondering-how did you end up picking your specialty/favorite breed?

I have always loved Aussies, and really the only dog I would own is a Pembroke welsh corgi. Once Cheetah came out with the new pembroke file (okay probably a long time ago) I was hooked. I also like the dane hexes just how they look.

I used to be very obsessed with Catz Paranoia breeds - like Norwegian Forest Cats, Japanese Bobtails, etc. I saw someone called Ellulah (Who I think has long since left the PC) and also someone called Loom showing mixies of them, and I thought oh my God, those are gorgeous catz, and their skinny little legs are great for posing. I basically show original breeds, though. I'm boring.

I just recently start breeding and showing CK Huskies. I only have 2 and I plan on showing them a lot. They're great posers. <3

For dogz I choose the CK Huskies. I must admit and first I was not fond of them at all but after a little while I started to adore them. I believe I have about 10 now. My second would be the Pekingese. For a while I stopped breeding them because the breedfile was really bad but just a couple days ago I found a beautiful new Pekingese breedfile.
Catz I don't really have a certain breed, however, I do have a favorite catz I show all the time so you all will be seeing a lot of him.

I have always like mixies, of any kind, I do not really like purebreds for some reason I find them boring. I also seem to fancy Tabby hexies, and Alley Cat hexies more then any other breedz. When I was young I used to download every breed from Caroline's Creations and mix them up. These days I do not use extra breedfiles, my computer can't handle them. Like it can't handle P3 or P4 (those games close themselves when I got more then 2 Petz in it).

xD I Picked Otter Hounds because I think they are an amazing breed IRL, They are intelligent - And make pretty good show dogz to ^^. I used to be a fan of CK Huskies and Collies, but then I found out they didnt work for me. Another reason I picked OH's was because my Grandma used to have one, Bailey, And my dog Choice looks exactly like him

I looked around a lot. I had some different breeds here and there. But I have never found a breed so diverse and good at posing as the Abno Aussie. I was kinda getting into the Abno Chihuahua, but they didnt have the posing that Aussies do.

I'm very picky over breeds. I wanted something Play Friendly but also something popular so adoptions would be easy and something fun to show. And CKBCs just fit right into that. They are just so fluufy and friendly its no wonder I'm addicted =D

I never had a "main" breed -- my breeds change daily but most of the time I think of going to Otterhounds. I used to own one when we lived in the trailer (I was three then) and he was the sweetest pup you ever had. I only have three show dogz now and they are all different..(Malamute, Spinone Italiano, Golden Retriever) I tried to make a mixture of CK Husky and Leopard Shepherd -- since I thought that would be uniquie -- but the puppies all had deformities and/or would pass it on to offspring. The second I choose a main breed I change my mind -- I'll never settle. >.<

I prefer the the original breeds myself theres nothing boring about them. have you ever tried to get a 'perfect' dane pose? Its quite the challenge. I really dislike the pkc breeds myself. I like the fact that the originals are goofy petzy looking petz.

I chose Rough Collies mostly because of adopting one on RKC. It was one of the few pups for D4 so I said, "why not?" and viola! I now have about 10 showers who aren't half bad. But i try not to limit myself to just one breed.

I didn't really have a certain breed. I adopt a few of this, adopt a few of that, but my currest obsession is LaPerms and calico mixes. I love the calico face and the calic everything, they're just so cute! ^^ Plus they are original and make cute kittens so they're nice adopter-outers. As for LaPerms, er....I remember! I was looking on the Supernova hexing site, and it said that the Nebelung was out, which was of course a new breed. I ot one but then for some reason I thought the nebelung's heads were too small so I looked for more of their catz breedz, found the LaPerm, adopted a few, now I have quite a few. For dogz, Catnip sort of got me hooked on Golden Retrievers (Abno v2) but I only have two of those and I have one other dog, Solovet, of course, who is not a Golden. I don't really like dogz that much, although they adopt out well and on PA and stuff, so I breed them.
